Home Workout Numero Uno

OK let’s cut the shit. I need to workout more. And since I have two small kids and a husband that is frequently out of pocket, I bought a couple of small token items to start working out at home while my kids play trucks in the living room.

So this is going to be the start of some new blog posts focused on home workouts. Now, I want to be clear that I still advocate working out in a group whenever possible. I find it extremely difficult to work out by myself. I don’t actually enjoy it much and my motivation is much lower. But I really want to look good naked, so……

I bought myself:

A kettle bell (I got the 44lb)

A jump rope (already had this one)

An adjustable plyometric box (although you can use a curb outside your house or Hotel room or whatever and it could still count)

A set of testicles. Just kidding. My ovaries carry the power of 5 sets. at least. ;)

And here’s what I started with:

100 Double Unders
50 Jumping Squats
10 Burpees
40 Situps
10 Burpees
30 Jumping Lunges
10 Burpees
20 Kettlebell swings
10 Burpees
100 Double Unders
10 Burpees
20 Kettlebell swings
10 Burpees
30 Jumping Lunges
10 Burpees
40 Situps
10 Burpees
50 Jumping Squats
100 Double Unders

And it was a good start.

If you try this one, please post your time and additional comments so people know what to expect. I think it took me about 30 minutes, but next time I'll pay more attention.
